About RRM Phoenix
The RRM Phoenix was built in Maricopa, Arizona.There is also a minimum security that holds 160 extra inmates. The RRM Phoenix cells are 13 feet by 7 feet. Certain housing units can hold 250 inmates, and certain Special units for violent offenders. The RRM Phoenix has programs for their inmate’s mental health such as a drug abuse program to job programs and experience. Both indoor and outdoor programs that help the inmates better improve themselves.

The RRM Phoenix is a federal prison. What does that mean for you? That means that the Federal Bureau of Prisons is the agency that is responsible for the upkeep of the inmate roster.
This means you can search the Federal Bureau of Prisons database to find the inmates who are currently housed in the RRM Phoenix.
In this inmate roster database, you will be able to see his or her mugshots, personal identifiable information, what they are in on, and what year he or she may be released.

Sending a Mail/Care Package
When sending a letter or a care package to the RRM Phoenix, you will need to make sure that you have the right mailing address. Most of the federal prisons will have a known physical address and a mailing address.
All mail must be sent to the mailing address to be accepted. If you do not send it to the mailing address you run the risk of the mail being sent directly back to you.

Sending Money
To send money to an inmate who is serving time in the RRM Phoenix, you can do so by three different methods.
The first method is going to take the longest, but it is the cheapest way. You can send a money order to the money address that can be found on the FBOP website.
The second method is to send money using either MoneyGram and/or Western Union. This way is the easiest and most expensive, but the inmates will receive the funds that much sooner.
Phone calls
Phone calls in the RRM Phoenix are limited to 300 minutes a month during the months from January to October. However, in the months of November and December, since it is a holiday, the inmates are granted another 100 minutes a month for a total of 400 minutes.
Visitation
All inmates who are in good standing within the RRM Phoenix can have visitors. These visitors will be permitted on the weekends during their visitation hours. You will need to adhere to all regulations and guidelines that the guards give you while you are on the premises.
