Sending a Mail/Care Package

When sending a letter or a care package to the FCI Miami, you will need to make sure that you have the right mailing address. Most of the federal prisons will have a known physical address and a mailing address.

All mail must be sent to the mailing address to be accepted. If you do not send it to the mailing address you run the risk of the mail being sent directly back to you.

Please make sure that you follow the guidelines set forth by the FCI Miami.

Sending Money

To send money to an inmate who is serving time in the FCI Miami, you can do so by three different methods.

The first method is going to take the longest, but it is the cheapest way. You can send a money order to the money address that can be found on the FBOP website.

The second method is to send money using either MoneyGram and/or Western Union. This way is the easiest and most expensive, but the inmates will receive the funds that much sooner.

Phone calls

Phone calls in the FCI Miami are limited to 300 minutes a month during the months from January to October. However, in the months of November and December, since it is a holiday, the inmates are granted another 100 minutes a month for a total of 400 minutes.
