Sending a Mail/Care Package
Offenders in the Omaha Jail are not permitted to get letters or packages from the community. The offender is not in the facility long enough to obtain said letter or package regardless.
Please also do not send any forms of money through the mail for the offender either as they do not get it when they are in the custody of the Omaha Jail.

Phone calls
Offenders will be given one free call when they are in the booking stage of the process. Once they get fully admitted to the facility, the offenders will have access to a telephone. The telephone will strictly only collect calls. It will be your responsibility to pay those fees.
Visitation
There will be no visits when the offenders are in the Omaha Jail. Please be aware the only visits that the facility may allow will be between the offender and his or her legal counsel. Everyone else will have to wait until they are released, or they get brought down to the county facility.
Please refrain from coming to the facility to try and visit an offender in custody.
