RRM Raleigh is in Butner, North Carolina.

Sending Money

Depositing funds into an inmate's phone or commissary account is easy as pie now. All you need to do is use Western Union or MoneyGram the way you normally do. Now you can do both services online, if you would like.

After the first time you do it, this process will only take a couple of minutes.

Phone calls

The RRM Raleigh allows inmates to have 15-minute phone conversations with family and friends.

The inmates however must use their minutes wisely as they are only allowed to talk on the phone up to 300 minutes a month. But during the holidays they are given another 100 minutes.

Visitation

Visitation at the RRM Raleigh typically is done on weekends from 8 am to about 3 pm.

During this time, if you are an approved visitor, you will be allowed to come to the facility and visit with the inmate.

If you are not an approved visitor, it is your duty to fill out the application and wait to be approved. This process can take anywhere from a month to six weeks.
