Sending a Mail/Care Package

Sending Money

If you are asked to drop off or send money to an inmate in the Mono County Jail, you will need to know the proper protocol.

When it comes to the proper protocol, you should note that the Mono County Jail will accept money orders. These money orders can be accepted in the lobby of the facility.

Please ensure before dropping off the money order that the money order is filled out correctly and has the inmate’s name on it as well. This will ensure that the inmate gets these funds put directly in their account, so they can buy items from the commissary.
